Annual Charity Luncheon, Tip the Waiter, Tickets Available

A fun and spirited event that guests will be eager to attend raises much needed funds to service victims of violence in our community.

Murfreesboro, TN. March 14th, 2017

Going, going, GONE!  Don’t miss out on this opportunity to enjoy a fabulous lunch and support a cause that makes a difference. Tickets are now available and sponsorships needed for the 13th Annual “Tip the Waiter” luncheon and silent auction, to be held on Wednesday April 19th at Embassy Suites Murfreesboro. This annual charity luncheon benefits the Domestic Violence Program & Sexual Assault Services, where 100% of proceeds go directly to provide free professional services that aid victims and survivors of domestic and sexual violence in Rutherford County.

“This is a wonderful, not to miss event!” announces Board Chair Mitzi Mayberry  “We know you are going to go out for lunch anyway, so why not plan on coming and helping to benefit a cause in our community that does so much to make a difference in the lives of others.”  Mayberry adds “Buy your lunch ticket today because your support helps us to raise awareness, educate for prevention, and provide support services to put an end to this social problem still burdening our community. That’s the best value meal in town that I know.”

The luncheon will be a fun and spirited event where friends and colleagues will be able to enjoy a fantastic lunch and take part in a silent auction full of local products, art pieces, and certificates to enjoy some of the best places in town. Tickets are being sold in three different sponsorship levels; Helping Hands Level, Purple and Teal Level, Bernard House Level, and DVP Steward Level, as well as individual tickets through April 10th. All ticket information can be found on the program’s website, or directly through Eventbrite at
